Today is June 17, 2018, Father's Day. This is the first day that my wife Connie, my son Rob and I are back home in Texas. We have lived in South Carolina for the past three and a half years and moved back yesterday.
We spent the last two and a half years living in this house we built in Moncks Corner, South Carolina in 2015.

We sold this house and signed all the papaers on Friday and began the 16 hour drive back to Texas. It was a bitter-sweet time, since the house there was one Connie and I built, making all the choices about floor plan, colors, surfaces, landscaping and decorating. It was a delightful house that we will miss. But, moving back home to Texas meant that we would be returning to family (hers and mine) and to friends and familiar places. We are still in the process of finding the right house to purchase and move into, but have been supremely blessed to be temporarily living in Connie's sister Gail's house during the "hunt"!
Not only has Gail given up her home for us, her daughter and son-in-law, Yvonne and Nichol have opened up their home for Gail to live with them for the duration.

So, as we celebrate Father's Day back in Texas, we lovingly remember our dad's - Delton Springer and Robert "Arch" Martin.

Delton left us in 1982 and Arch in 2008.
We miss them greatly and honor them on this special day!
'Til next time!

I know wherever you find home to be it will be super blessed. Welcome back to Texas! Love seeing Uncle Delton's picture again. Miss him also.
